How we got here
Our Story: Building a TMS That Works for Freight
Sunnybrook Software was born out of necessity. When Heartland Logistics searched for the right TMS partner, they couldn’t find a solution that met their unique needs. With 30% of their freight being dry and liquid bulk, no existing platform offered the functionality required to operate and scale their business effectively. After demoing over 30 TMS platforms, it became clear that they needed something different—something purpose-built for real-world freight challenges.
Determined to create a solution, Heartland assembled a team to build a modern TMS designed to meet their needs and exceed industry standards. From day one, the focus was on scalability and forward-thinking architecture. Many of the platforms on the market were built on outdated technology, unable to keep up with the demands of freight management in 2024 and beyond.
A Proven Platform for Scaling Success
Most TMS are designed and built by engineers, not people in freight. Thats where sunnybrook is different. We poured in 1000’s of hours of design and implentation to ensure our product allowed users to reduce mouse clicks and move at lightning speed when executing freight.
